Endings are important
A Little More Bria, just for you.
At nursery the next day, Rolo plonked down beside Bria, puffing out his cheeks.
“At home, I couldn’t find my shoe. And my toast fell jam-side down.”
Bria raised an eyebrow. “Were you getting ready… or were you doing something else? ”
“I was...playing,” Rolo mumbled.
Bria grinned. “Same. Yesterday I turned into a slow snail. Missed everything. I was sad.”
Rolo leaned in. “So what do you do now?”
“I get ready first. Then I play.” She pointed to her painted hands. “Works out pretty well.”
