Ravi has clocked that tidy-up time = time to vanish.

This might show a lack of responsibility, yes - but it could also show that tidy-up routines aren’t embedded, expectations are inconsistent, or he doesn’t yet feel like part of the team. Some children simply haven’t had to help at home and don’t know what doing their bit feels like.

It might also reflect poor executive function: too many steps, too much overwhelm, or not enough modelling of how to tidy.
