Why This Matters for School Readiness:

Reception doesn’t come with a personal valet.

If a child can’t take part in shared responsibilities or avoids instructions, they’ll struggle with transitions, team work, and those many, many “jobs” that come with classroom life (like unpacking a book bag, putting up a chair, or helping others).

Being able to tidy isn’t just about a clean room - it’s about developing routine, respect for community spaces, and internal motivation to contribute. Ravi doesn’t need to love tidying. He just needs to do it.
